With over 20 years of experience in painting, decorating and home maintenance, Emma decided it was time to launch her own female-led company based in South East London.
SHE.I.Y is passionate about giving people spaces they love to live in and are proud of.
We offer high quality decorating and home improvement services.
SHE.I.Y LIMITED was founded in 2007. Marriage, children and another career restricted Emma to working part-time as a painter/decorator but, as of 2022, SHE.I.Y Limited is live in South East London and occasionally pops up in Mole Valley.
Emma has 20 years experience decorating people’s homes, transforming spaces and bringing the tired back to life.
As well as quality home improvement services, SHE.I.Y’s ethos is to provide training and education in all things D.I.Y. to all women of every background. We aim to breakdown the stereotypes of “blue jobs”, empowering women in their homes and demystifying the trades.
SHE.I.Y works with and supports domestic abuse, disability and LGBTQ+ charities.
Emma’s advice was invaluable when we were renovating our house. She did a great job with our kitchen tiling and living room decoration.

What We Do
SHE.I.Y performs interior and exterior home and commercial painting to a high standard. We handle domestic repair, including cracks and mould stains. Emma is a City & Guilds-approved tiler.
Our home maintenance services include wallpapering, wall hanging (including shelves and artwork) and even building flatpack furniture.
We carry out interior and exterior woodwork repair and painting, furniture painting and more.
SHE.I.Y uses traditional and modern techniques. Working closely with clients to achieve the look and quality finish they demand.
How We Do It
SHE.I.Y is fully insured for public liability. Emma has an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. We provide free, no obligation quotes. References and testimonials are available on request.
